Steve Duda is an American music producer, audio engineer, and software developer from Menlo Park, California. Duda started his music career in the late 1990s as a producer, working with artists such as Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, Rob Zombie, Sugar Ray, Will-I-Am, Tommy Lee, and others. In 2002, he met deadmau5 and the two later began collaborating on music projects such as BSOD and WTF?. Duda's contributions to tracks were often in the realms of sound design, mixing and mastering.

Despite his extensive history in record production, Duda is widely recognized for founding the company Xfer Records. He is also known for creating the Serum synthesizer alongside other renowned Xfer plug-ins such as LFOTool, Cthulhu, and Nerve.
