Background[]
On 27 March 2010, the song made its debut live at Ultra Music Festival 2010. It was played after the unreleased "Dub5tepthingie." [1]
When tracks were being compiled for the release of 4x4=12, "Right This Second" was the last to receive a name. While Zimmerman was in a cab on tour, his tour manager asked for it to be named "right this second" as the album was going to be pressed the following day. As a joke, Zimmerman responded by saying that "Right This Second" should be the track's title.[2]
On 5 November 2010, the song was previewed on BBC Radio 1 by Pete Tong.
