"Infraliminal" is a standalone single by REZZ and deadmau5 that was released on 13 October 2023 under mau5trap. The single came with two versions: the original mix and Isabelle's Version. It is their second collaborative release following "Hypnocurrency" and the debut song of the REZZMAU5 alias.

Background[]

After their successful track "Hypnocurrency" in 2021, the duo performed as REZZMAU5 at the Veld Music Festival in August 2023, where they previewed "Infraliminal," their upcoming collaboration set for release soon.[1]

The single is a reinterpretation of Zimmerman's track "Superliminal" from the album > album Title goes here <. Rezazadeh has expressed that "Superliminal" played a significant role in inspiring her to become an electronic music producer, stating:

"'Superliminal’ is my favorite deadmau5 track. That’s one of the key songs that stunned me, and I immediately had to learn to produce music. I put my own lil spin on it, while Joel also did his own lil spin, and we combined it together for now called ‘Infraliminal.’"[2]

Isabelle's Version was featured on her second studio album, CAN YOU SEE ME?, released via her HypnoVision label on 14 March 2024. According to a post from the REZZ Twitter account, it was a last-minute addition to the album. [3]
