Gerard Way is an American singer, musician, and writer. He was featured in deadmau5's single "Professional Griefers".
He began his career in music in 2001 by founding the band My Chemical Romance with his brother, Mikey Way. When the band broke up in 2013, he began to pursue his own personal musical projects. Six years after My Chemical Romance's break up, a reunion of the band was announced on October 31st, 2019.
